Grandson of Vinyl-vs-CD

The Easy Teen-Age version

A guide about the main audio differences in the various editions of most Zappa albums
but also about the crossed relations between different albums.
It's a work in progress: information will be update as soon as new differences or new relations will arrive at my ears.

Disclaimer (2005)
Many information contained in the following pages come from the real and very informative vinyl-vs-cd pages created by BOSSK from the old Usenet Faq and now maintained by David Goodwin. I'd like to make clear that there's of course no direct connection between this pages and the real ones other than, I'll say it again, I used a lot of information from there. Also, mine pages are focalized almost exclusively to music content differences. Being that I used and will use also other sources, these pages could contain facts and opinions not contained in the original pages and vice versa.

More disclaimer (2009)
When I first started these pages in 2005, my main objective was just to have a more rational display of the information contained at the Zappa Patio, that I used to find a little confusing.
In the meantime I've acquired many of the old vinyls and the various CD editions on which these pages are focused on. So the original information contained herein is grown (and so is the information obtained from different sources). Nevertheless at this moment I still don't have access at none of The Old Masters albums, so all information about those editions come from external sources. Not that you asked, but if you really want to make me a gift, please send me a good digital rip of those Old Masters LPs!
