Stay asleep and you'll feel better
Time and money do not matter

Every day becomes your daylight
Everybody's feeling uptight

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot for sharing this documentary including the video footage.

An audio only version of the same has been up on the tracker
for more than a decade here in FZ Interviews/Radio Shows:

1978 XX XX Ohne Maulkorb (ORF) 39.14 TV Audio (walk-fl)
http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6996

The Audio in the old version sounds slightly more crisp than it does here.

After nearly 4 years of waiting at another thread - thank you very much for this "Ohne Maulkorb" Peter Wolf ducumentary! Razz

Nice shots of Patrick, Terry, Thomas and André Heller of that time too.

Your upload caused me to research something more in the Interent - I think I found out something special - so stay tuned.

BTW, I'm still looking for a valid proof for Zappa as the author of the so-called "Artopia Hymn" and "Artopia Signation", of the Artistic Libertarian Artopia by André Heller.

1978 08 xx Artopia hymn full sample (Yojimbo)

One sees Peter Wolf in the official videos barely when playing directly on the Keyborads -
so this documentary proves that he was an excellent musician and improviser at that time.

I think that the series "Ohne Maulkorb" (~ "Without Muzzle") would reveal many more
Zappa related treasures. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get VHS recordings from that time.

Thanks for this.

It is great to see some footage of Peter playing. I always felt like Tommy's prodigious talent caused Peter to be underrated. The camera barely shows him in Baby Snakes.

So what is the group we see here? Patrick, Peter, & Terry -- looks like an onstage rehearsal? At first I thought it was pared-down Zappa rehearsal -- their look is right, and the year is right, but then this Harri Stojka is also there?

Love Peter's shirt -- "Butter is a way of life"!

There must be people here that know some of the people involved. Perhaps Nordegg or even Wolf could be asked ( on social media or however).
